Robert Albert Buisson Jr. passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the age of 77. Beloved husband of 56 years to Carol (Jeanie) P. Buisson. Loving father of Beth B. Morettini(Greg), Robert Buisson III (Colleen) and Wanda B. Heuer. Grandfather of Matthew Morettini, Amanda Morettini, Scott Buisson, Kaylin Buisson, Mark Mauer (Hannah), Kevin Heuer and Michael Heuer. Great-grandfather of Theo Mauer and Henry Mauer. Son of the late Robert Albert Buisson Sr. and Mildred Desplas. Brother of Carol Joy Buisson. Nephew of Una Mae Dugas. Robert was a 1957 graduate of Fortier High school and a graduate of Louisiana State University. He was employed for 38 years as a civil engineer with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers. He was happiest spending time with his family and enjoyed fishing, gardening and watching sports. The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff at Ochsner Benson Cancer Center and his last few days with the staff of Heart of Hospice for their loving care.
