Terry Marie Long Collins

Terry Marie Long Collins, age 72, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, after a brave battle with Lewy Body Dementia. A native of New Orleans and a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish. She retired from M.G. Maher & Co. after 22 years in Accounting.

Daughter of the late Ruth Dubois and John C. Long Jr., niece of Evelyn Dubois and the late Henry Dubois (Sue). Sister of Peggy Seago (Leo Jr.). Mother of Cherie Breaux Hilbun, John David Collins Jr. and the late Michelle Breaux. Mother-in-law of Douglas McArthur Hilbun Jr. MiMi to Hailey Marie Hilbun. Nanny of Leo Seago III and Stephanie Seago. Great Nanny to Leo Seago IV and Lane Seago.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the service. Interment will immediately follow in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions are made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association or the Sister Servants of Mary. We thank the Sister Servants of Mary for their devotion.
