Stephen Michael Peacock

Stephen Michael Peacock, born October 26, 1962, passed away peacefully and suddenly at home on Monday May16, 2022. Beloved son of H. Winnie Peacock and Richmond D Peacock. Stevie was preceded in death by his father and his brothers, Timmy and Tommy and his Aunt Eileen Gernon. He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Richmond and Lucille Peacock of Perry Fl and his maternal grandparents Thomas and Hennie Gernon of New Orleans, LA. He is survived by his brother Barney (Jenny), niece Kathryn, and nephew Carter. He will be fondly remembered by uncles Thomas (Gerda), Patrick (Sheila), and Edward (Carol) and dear friend and cousin Sherry Pafumi.
Steve grew up on the west bank in Terrytown La. He was a 1980 Shaw High School graduate.
Stevie’s life experiences were many and varied. He made friends easily and always had interesting stories to tell. His work career included restaurants, sales, construction, and ride sharing.
Also remembered by family and friends including aunts, uncles, cousins, and acquaintances in and around New Orleans.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment to following in Westlawn Cemetery. On line guest book at www.greenwoodfh.com
