Selina Cerise McGovern, age 94 passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 14, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Harold J. McGovern, Jr. Loving mother of Harold J. McGovern, III (the late Judith), and Steven J. McGovern (Jude) and her daughter at heart Cynthia Lee Sheng. Grandmother of Steven M. McGovern (Mallory) and Mary Alys McGovern. Great grandmother of Charlotte and Marnie McGovern. Preceded in death by her brothers George, Louis, Edward, John and Joseph Cerise; and her parents George Cerise and Selina Fritch Cerise. Survived by one sister –in-law Jewel Cerise. Our sincere thanks to Metairie health Care and Harmany Hospice for their loving care. A native and lifelong resident of this city.
