Raoul Joseph Barrios, Sr.

Raoul Joseph Barrios, Sr. entered into eternal rest surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at the age of 95. He was born on January 31, 1923 in Lockport, Louisiana to William T. Barrios and Eugenie Toups Barrios. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley Moffett Barrios, and his six siblings, William, Mamie, Roy, Edwin, Lucille, and Norman.
Raoul was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather who will be dearly missed. He is survived by his four children, R.J. Barrios, Jr., Barry Barrios, Mary Bartel (Ty), and Harold Barrios (Terri), and his grandchildren, Nicholas Bartel (Madelaine), Christopher Bartel, Angela Barrios, Terin Barrios, Brittany Dreyfus, Kathryn Stewart, and Wesley Stewart.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass that will take place at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd. in New Orleans, LA 70124 on Monday, March 19 at 11:00 AM with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM.
