Patricia Boudreaux Stieffel

Patricia Anne Boudreaux Stieffel was called to rest Friday, October 8, 2021 at the age of 86. A native New Orleanian, she lived most of her life in Metairie with a short detour to Richmond, Virginia along the way. She attended Holy Rosary and St. Joseph Academy before embarking on a brief career at AT&T. Soon after, she met and married her devoted husband of 61 years, Raymond H. Stieffel.

Favorite pastimes included going to the beach to collect sea shells and relax in the sun, cooking New Orleans creole inspired dishes and exploring new cuisines. Water aerobics was her go-to exercise for several decades. She looked forward to hosting the annual Christmas party where a good time was had by family and friends alike. A parishioner of both St. Philip Neri Church and St. Ann Church and Shrine in Metairie, she was a loyal volunteer and always ready to lend a helping hand.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents Charles M. and Edna Keating Boudreaux as well as her two brothers, Giles and Jerry and her sister, Gail. She is survived by her husband Raymond H. Stieffel, her sons Stephen G. Stieffel (Vanessa) and David O. Stieffel (Mary) and daughter Shevon S. Turner (Brian). She is also survived by her much loved grandchildren, Samantha S. Scibilia (Jagger), Cameron J. Turner, and Egan J. Turner and was very much looking forward to her first great-grandchild who is expected in February. She will also be dearly missed by her numerous nieces and nephews and the many friends she had collected from all parts of the world over the course of her life.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you dedicate a mass in her name or donate to the charity of your choice.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA on Friday, October 15, 2021, starting at 9:30 A.M. Followed by a Memorial Mass in the Chapel at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
