Mitchel L Maniscalco

Mitchel Luca Maniscalco, age 94, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 3, 2019. He was the loving husband of the late Eleanora Giafaglione Maniscalco. He is survived by two daughters Mary Maniscalco Burns and Patricia Maniscalco Cancienne; four grandchildren, Michele Coulson Trauth, Monique Cancienne Ivey, Patrice Cancienne Comeaux, and Kristin Cancienne Rodriguez and four great grandchildren. He was born on February 6, 1924 in New Orleans, LA. He was the son of the late Guiseppe Maniscalco and Mary Accomando, both from Sicily. He was a WWII Navy veteran as well as a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Funeral Service at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124 on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
