Dear Edward (Anne-Gwin), Paul (Michele), Vilma Lally (Ron), Giselle Isbell (Ted) and children,

My relationship with Laurita was more than special since she was my cousin, sister-in-law and she chose me to be Edward's godmother. She was like a sister to me. Justo always cherished his times at the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez Campus, when Laurita was studying her Chemistry Major and they shared an apartment. He was a proud older brother! As time went by, both had their own families and we were fortunate to spend time together in Marrero as well as in Puerto Rico. I will always remember those happy times, short but sweet. She will always be in my thoughts and prayers.
My deepest condolences and love,
Titi Estrella

Mrs. Laura, perhaps the sweetest and kindest of all my friends' mothers, will remain forever in my memory as exactly that. She exuded love, peace and the light of Christ. May she now rest in eternal peace with the Lord. St. Joseph, Patron of Departing Souls, pray for her.

In loving memory of my other mother. Miss Laura always took such good care of all her "children". Her gentle soul (and delicious meals) will be missed. My deepest sympathies to the entire family. Hugs to all. Love -Jan

Ms. Laura, as I liked to call her, was a special woman to me and I will cherish the memories I have of her. While I hadn't seen her in some years, she was always thought of fondly and remembered. My only wish is that I could have seen her one last time to tell her how special was to me and I will never forget how she treated me as one of her own.
