June Sebro Stein

June Sebro Stein, a longtime resident of Westwego, Louisiana passed away at Ochsner Medical Center on Saturday, January 9, 2021. June came to this world with her identical twin, Joan Sebro Sessums on August 13, 1931. They remain best of friends into eternity. June was preceded in death by her husband Roy Paul Stein, her Mother Marie Zeringue Sebro Montogomery, father John Edward Sebro, step-father Benjamin Montgomery, sisters Joan Sebro Sessums, Emily Barbaro, Dorothy Folmar, and Katherine Stein. June is survived by her sons, Harris Stein (the late Charlene), and Russell Stein (Debra), Grandchildren Harris Paul Stein, Jr., (Wendy), Shelly Ann Stein, Kevin Joseph Stein (Angie) and Steven Michael Stein (Nicole), great grandmother of Britney Richard (Tyler), Austin Stein, Tyler Stein, Rylee Stein, Steven Stein, Jr. , Dylan Stein and Macy Boudreaux, great granddaughter Harper Richard. June was a loving and supportive Mother, Wife and Friend who always had a smile to share. She retired after 30+ years at Sazerac Company. She loved being with her family and enjoyed her home and gardening.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Holy Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 1701 Bridge City Ave., Bridge City, LA on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 12 noon. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please send donations to LA Hospice & Palliative Care 504-483-9792 in mother’s name.
