Josephine Danna “Josie” Phillips

Josephine Danna “Josie” Phillips passed away at home on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at the age of 100. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pascal George Phillips; parents, Charles Danna and Florence Cucimano Danna; brother, Anthony Danna (Jenny); sisters, Catherine Danna Leto (Tony), Lucille Danna Parrino (Mike) and Louise Danna; nephew, Charles Danna; and niece, Karen Danna Mandella (Vic). Survivors include nephews, Joseph Leto (Mildred) and Michael Parrino; great nieces, Kim Leto Parsons (Keith), Lauren Leto Decker and Katie Parrino (Denny); great nephews, Michael Parrino, Jr. and Nicholas Parrino; great great niece, Megan Decker; great great nephews, Hank Muller, Shawn Rinck and Jackson Rinck; great great great nephew, Caden Bruno; and two special friends, Teresa and Terry Doyle.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, on Thursday, September 22, 2022, starting at 11:00 AM, followed by a Mass in the chapel at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Masses are preferred.
