Jefferson Phillip McGovern

Jefferson “Jeff” Phillip McGovern, passed away on September 5, 2022, at the age of 47. He was born on September 29, 1974, in Louisville, Kentucky, to his loving parents, Deloris Prather and James McGovern.

Jeff leaves behind to cherish his memory parents, Deloris and Richard Prather, James and Debra McGovern, sisters, Melanie McGovern, Taylor McGovern U’Sellis (Brian), and Tuyet Hoang; nieces Kristina, Samantha, and Atalaya, nephews; Justin and Jude, great niece Anna, special aunt, Patricia Armour, uncles, many cousins some of whom have lost a brother, and many Vietnamese family and friends, good friend Bobby, and the love of his life Sarah Guidry and her daughter Demi Green.

Jeff was brilliant, creative, and loved with his whole heart, he was confident and showed character we should all emulate. Jeff was a wonderful person who was loved, will be missed, and cherished.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Louisville, Kentucky.
