Jeanne Bourgeois Clapp

Jeanne Bourgeois Clapp passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, February 21, 2021, at the age of 81. Beloved wife of 60 years to the late Allan Louis Clapp, Sr. Devoted mother of Cathy Rice (William) and the late Allan Louis Clapp, Jr. Loving Grandmother of Eric Thomas Rice, John William Rice (Jade), and Allana Molly Clapp. Proud Great-grandmother of Myla and Wade. Jeanne was the daughter of the late Murphy J. Bourgeois, Sr. and Florence Hazard Bourgeois and the sister of Lynn J. Bourgeois, Deborah B. Moran and the late Murphy J. Bourgeois, Jr. Jeanne was a resident of Metairie, LA and a member of St. Benilde Parish for over 50 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at St. Benilde Catholic Church, 1901 Division Street, Metairie, Louisiana, on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, starting at 10:00 AM, followed by a Mass at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery #1. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Second Harvest Food Bank, https://no-hunger.org/.
