James Dorsey Melito

James Dorsey Melito passed away on September 6, 2023, at the age of 65 years old. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on March 10, 1958, to Alphonse J. Melito and Dallie Michael Melito, who predeceased him.

James’ parents, brothers, Dennis Beibrick, Robert Stubbs, and Gary Stubbs, and a half-sister, Elizabeth Satimore predeceased him.

James leaves behind to cherish his memory wife Sally Zummo Melito of 42 years. James and Sally have been sweethearts since high school. He was the proud father of Jason Alphonse Melito and Cody Salvadore Melito. He also leaves behind his twin sister Jamie Anderson.

James was a U.S. Postal Service, letter carrier for 30 years. He was a member of the Letter Carrier Association and a parishioner of St. Christopher the Martyr Catholic Church.

A private funeral mass will be held.
