Jack B Couch passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at the age of 86. He was born on June 18, 1931 in New Orleans, LA and a resident of Kenner for 31 years. He was a parishioner of St. Mary Magdalen Church and a member of The Knights of Columbus. He retired from the LA Hwy Department. He was a Korean War Veteran in the U.S. Navy and served in the U.S. Navy Reserves. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 350 and VFW 6640. Beloved husband of the late Rosalie G. Couch for 43 years. Son of the late John B and Evelyn Couch. Brother of the late Jerry and Walter Couch and the late Marie Leicher. Step-father of Santa Coleman (Joe), Dolores Maggio (Brent), Frank LaBarbera`Jr., Deborah Shiplett (Rene), Charlene Gagnet (Ben) and the late Mary Schmitt (Larry). Step-grandfather of 11 and step-great-grandfather of 4. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at Greenwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA. on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM.
