Frank Dominick Natal, Sr. of Mandeville, Louisiana passed away on June 4, 2022 at the age of 95. He was born in New Orleans to the late Frank Theodore and Delta Catanzaro Natal on June 16, 1926.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of forty-two years, Karen Chisholm Natal; four sons and one daughter, Frank “Donnie” D. Natal, Jr., Ronald “Ronnie” T. Natal (Maria), Jon “Chris” Natal (Terrie), Ricky Natal (Susie), and Barbara Natal Efferson (Al). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Frank took over the family grocery business in New Orleans, Natal’s Supermarket, after his father passed away. After working in the grocery business for many years Frank began constructing new homes and joined the New Orleans Home Builders Association. He moved to Mandeville in 1986 and a few years later began constructing new homes on the Northshore and joined the St Tammany Home Builders Association.
His hobbies included, fishing, boating, and woodworking. He was also an avid golfer at Beau Chene Golf and Country Club where he played golf for many years. One of his golfing highlights was having a hole-in-one at the Beau Chene annual PIG tournament, winning a new car.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Delta Natal; daughter, Deborah Joy Natal; great-granddaughter, Avery Marie Natal; and sisters, Beverly Natal Wilkinson and Audrey Natal Gibson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Monday, June 13, 2022 from 11:00am -1:00pm at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124.
