Elizabeth McCurdy Pellitteri

Elizabeth Jane Pellitteri passed away on July 9, 2021. She was born in Butler, PA and moved to New Orleans after her marriage in 1952.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Gaetanino Joseph Pellitteri Sr, her parents Fannie (Cannon) McCurdy and Albert W. McCurdy, her 10 brothers and sisters. She was an employee of Wembley Ties for 20+ years.

She was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed reading, cooking and baking. Her Lasagna was legendary.

She is survived by her two sons Gaetanino Joseph Pellitteri Jr and Albert Stephen Pellitteri, three grandchildren Albert Stephen Pellitteri Jr, Sara Elizabeth Pellitteri and Daniel Joseph Pellitteri, and one great grandchild Charlotte Marie Cavallin, and also many nieces and nephews

She will always be loved and missed by her family as she loved them.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd. on Saturday, July 17, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM. Interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
