Conchita Lacayo Sulli passed away peacefully at her home on January 8, 2021 at the age of 69. Born on April 13, 1951 in Managua Nicaragua, she is survived by the beloved husband of almost 50 years, Stephen W. Sulli, Sr.; daughters, Stephanie Sulli Brouillette (Charles Jr.), Christina Sulli Wilson (Chris); sons Stephen Sulli, Jr.(Leirer), and Christopher Sulli, Sr.(Danielle); mother, Gertrudis Lacayo; sister, Rebeca Hasbun; grandchildren, Sophia Brouillette, Joseph Brouillette, Priscilla Sulli, Phaedra Sulli, Andie Cancienne, Charley Cancienne, Lily Wilson, Courtney Sulli and Christopher Sulli, Jr. Conchita is preceded in death by her father Mario Lacayo, Sr.

Her proudest accomplishment was being the mother of two sets of fraternal twins. Conchita became a REALTOR® in 1980 and started her own company in 1984. Throughout her career Conchita volunteered for the REALTOR® Association at the local, state and national levels. Conchita was the last President of the Jefferson Board of REALTORS®. As President of JBOR® in 1992 Conchita, along with New Orleans REALTORS® Association, negotiated the merger of the two Associations to form the New Orleans Metropolitan Association of REALTORS®. She was also a civic leader for the Hispanic Community for the City of Kenner. A member and volunteer of the Divine Mercy Parish.


Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 4337 Sal Lentini Parkway in Kenner on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 starting at 10:30 AM, followed by a Mass at 12:30 PM. A private burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Due to COVID 19 regulations, please follow the current restrictions. Everyone attending is required to wear a mask and adhere to social distancing.
