Charlene A. Mutz

Charlene Ann Mutz passed away peacefully on July 5, 2021 at The Chateau du Notre Dame, at the age of 87. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles Joseph and Verona Dill Mutz. She is lovingly remembered by her best friend, Joan Hyatt of Montgomery, Alabama and Jane Nix. She attended Nicholls High School and graduated from Newcomb College, Class of 1954. Charlene taught in New Orleans Public Schools for 38 years, first as a social studies teacher and later as a Librarian. She was an avid gardener and a devout member of St. Dominic Catholic Church for many years. Family and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service at 10:00 am, on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 in Greenwood Cemetery.
