Carolynn Kepler Ippolito

Carol Kepler Ippolito passed away on September 13, 2023, at the age of 89. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, Sam Ippolito; parents Louis and Jeanne Kepler; sister-in-law Sissy Kepler; lifelong best friend and sister-in-law Catherine Ippolito; dear friend Elizabeth Gary; and nephew Michael Ippolito. 
 
Carol is the loving mother of Paul David Ippolito (Jeanne) and John Samuel Ippolito (Diana), and proud grandmother of Cristina Godfrey, Daniel Ippolito, Amanda Del Buono and Melissa Perkins. She is the adoring great grandmother of Seth and Caleb Godfrey, Nora and Layla Ippolito, Eleanor and Rhett Del Buono, and Samuel Perkins. She is survived by Brother Jack Kepler, nephews Mark, Paul, and Frank Ippolito, nieces Kathy and Cheryl Kepler, and Lisa and Cyndi Ippolito who were very special to Carol, especially in her later years.
 
Carol graduated from St. Mary’s Dominican High School class of ’52. She was employed for 30 years at American General Insurance Company as a cashier and office manager. Later in life, Carol worked at Lynda’s Salon as a handy girl, enjoying many years with her fellow workers and customers whom she cared for dearly. They were always there for her with support, advice, understanding, and love.
 
Carol will be greatly missed by all whose lives she blessed.
 
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at St. Angela Merici Catholic Church, 901 Beverly Garden Drive, Metairie, on Friday, September 22, 2023, starting at 10:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
