Camille Kingsmill Wallace

Camille Kingsmill Wallace passed away peacefully on May 3rd, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Michael Brady “Pal” Wallace, and her parents. Camille leaves behind her cherished daughters Michele Wallace, Jacquelyn DePaula (Darryl), and Minnette Patton (Clyde). Affectionately known as Granny, she was the quintessential grandmother to her boys MAJ William Joseph Walker, III (Jessica) and LT Brandon Michael Walker (Ashley), and to her precious girls Ellanor Grace Patton and Camille Marie Patton. She also leaves behind her “sweethearts” William Joseph “Bunky” Walker, IV and her newest great-granddaughter, Amelia Lynn Walker. She was a member of St. Christopher’s Parish where she worked in the rectory office for many years. She will be remembered by her family for unconditional love and her unwavering Catholic faith.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation beginning at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, La. 70124. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Sister Servants of Mary 5001 Perlita Street, New Orleans, LA 70122-1999.
