Bruce Jude Bernard

Bruce Jude Bernard (Paw Paw Bruce) passed away suddenly on May 3, 2021. Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana was a resident of Mandeville, LA for the past 10 years. Preceded in death Andrew Bernard and Doris Cresson Bernard.
Loving husband, father and most exceptional grandfather. At the age of 75 leaves behind his wife of 51 years. Sharon Heyman Bernard, daughter Leslie Becker (Ross) and son Brett Bernard. Grandchildren Kyle La Cour (Loren), Kody LaCour (Trista), Natalie Becker, Blaine and Ella Bernard. Great grandchildren Kyle Edward LaCour (K2), Bryland LaCour and Major La Cour.
Worked many years as an HR director and spent the last 10 years retired and enjoyed outdoor life. Kept everyone on their toes with his humor and quick wit.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
