Brandon William Isbell

Brandon William Isbell, age 38, left us on Sunday, April 25, 2021. A native of Marrero and a resident of New Orleans, Louisiana. Beloved son of Jimmie F. Isbell Jr. and Elizabeth R. Isbell. Brother to Angela M. Isbell (Maria Gore), Stephanie T. Isbell and Jimmie F. Isbell III (Elizabeth G. Isbell). Grandson to Jimmie F. Isbell Sr. and Marie D. Isbell, also William G. Russell and Isabell C. Russell. Brandon had many loving aunts and cousins. Predeceased by his godparent, grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Brandon was an independent contractor, who chose his own path in life. He was a born-again Christian, and was deeply committed to reading the Bible; he loved the Lord with all his heart and enjoyed sharing his knowledge of Christ.

He enjoyed the good things in life.

Brandon was committed to his family. He focused on relationships and made them a priority in his life. He was a true friend to people he loved. He was enthusiastic, curious and took every opportunity to venture out into the world.

Brandon‘s memory will forever live on with us.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, on Monday, May 3, 2021 at 9:00 AM with the Funeral Mass in the Chapel at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
