Beverly Vicknair Hautau

Beverly Vicknair Hautau passed away peacefully at the age of 90 at home on Thursday, September 2, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 50 years, Howard Hautau; her daughter, Pamela H. Vaughn (John); her parents, Julius and Theresa Ripp Vicknair; and her siblings, Julius Vicknair, Jr., and Joy Amedee. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah H. Seymour (the late, George), Janel H. Cimo (Bart), and Ronda Giorlando (Frank); her grandchildren, Michelle Meche; George III and Daniel (Sandy) Seymour; Joshua (Sarah) and Amy Cimo; Andrew (Katie), Steven, and Teresa Giorlando; and her great grandchildren, Gabe, Ethan, Devin, Kelsey, and Henry.
She was a native of New Orleans and resident of Metairie for 52 years. She attended St. Joseph High School. Mrs. Hautau was a homemaker and enjoyed vacations and camping trips with her daughters and their families.
The family would like to thank her caregivers Tara, Barbara, Tasary, Taylor and Gina, as well as One Touch Sitter Service and their staff, Lois, Catherine and Tootsie. We are forever grateful for the care and patience you’ve shown. We are also thankful for the home care she received from Compassus Hospice staff and nurses Candice and Carly.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, on Saturday, September 18, 2021, starting at 9:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Service in the chapel at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601. Due to COVID 19 regulations, please follow the current restrictions and everyone attending is required to wear a mask and adhere to social distancing.
