Anthony Mancuso Vella

Anthony Mancuso Vella, age 78, passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021. He was born on September 26, 1942, to the late Salvatore Vella and Claire Swan Vella.

He is survived by his sister, Carol Vella Mockbee, niece, Deborah Mockbee Majeau and his nephew-in-law Marcel H. Majeau, III. Anthony is also survived by his special friends and decade’s long companions, Carolyn and Bert Bizette.

He had many interests, but his biggest passion was music especially the local artist. He liked to list things on his computer such as; the number #1 Hits from the Poppa Stoppa Show and the Top 30 songs from the 1950’s. He was a storehouse of knowledge, reading every publication he could find. He also joined a website for a time that had individual DJ’s. A 30 minute show to play their music. He called his “Kool 50’s”.

Anthony was one in a million. A good man, quiet, kind and strong. He will be missed.
