Anthony Louis Haas

Anthony Louis Haas affectionately known as “Tony or Corky” passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Ruth Chamel Haas. Son of the late Louis Max Haas and Rose LaRose Haas. Brother of the late John Haas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Mr. Haas retired from the City of New Orleans as an Operating Engineer. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a devoted member of the Paul E. Boyd Detachment 579. Tony dedicated his service to the league and United States Marine Corps family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, starting at 10:00 AM, followed by a Memorial Service in the chapel at 11:00 AM.
