Anthony “Tony” Cicero

Anthony “Tony” Cicero, age 55, of Metairie, LA, passed away in Touro Hospital on May 31, 2019, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Anthony was born in Niagara Falls, NY and was the son of the late Lucille R. Cicero and Sam (Deanne) Cicero.
He lived in Niagara Falls, NY then moved to New Orleans, LA, where he met his beautiful loving wife, Deneen Dazet Cicero. She was the light of his life and his inspiration to keep fighting. Besides his wife Deneen and loving mother-in-law, Stella (the late Leonard) Dazet, sisters, brothers and brothers-in-law: Denise (Bill) Procaccini of Niagara Falls, NY; Paulette (Hal) Heller of Metairie, LA; Suanne (Al) Schmulke of New Orleans, LA; Sandy (the late George) Dragon of Metairie, LA and Michael (Toni) Fieramueca of Metairie, LA; Leonard Dazet of Metairie, LA; and Anthony (Donna) Dazet of Mandeville, LA. Anthony is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother and sister, Mark and Danielle Cicero.
He will be most missed by his three best friends, David Piro of Niagara Falls, NY, Joey Blacklidge and Norman Anthony both of New Orleans.
We will all miss his beautiful smile that lit up a room.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, starting at 11:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in the chapel at 1:00 PM. A private interment will be held at a later date in Greenwood Mausoleum.
