Anna Josephine Avery

Anna Schwab Avery passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family, in Virginia Beach, VA, on Tuesday, May 8, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Robert Sippy Avery. Loving mother of Robert J. Avery (Christine), Bonnie A. Catalanotto (Vincent) and John Scott Avery. Grandmother of Gretchen Klobucar (Adam), Robert Avery, Beth Avery Hall (Cody) and Meredith Avery (Javi). Great-grandmother of Nora and Hunter Klobucar. Anna was a retired employee of the Archdiocese of New Orleans, Having worked at St Gerard Parish for the hearing impaired, St Vincent de Paul Parish and Holy Trinity Parish. She was the recipient of the St Louis Medallion Award. She also worked for the American Automobile Association, C’s Pharmacy and Majoria’s Pharmacy. At the age of 83 she became a LA Licensed Pharmaceutical Technician. Her greatest love was her family and she will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Greenwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA. on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 11:00 AM.
