Yvonne Maniscalco Romig, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife of the late John C. Romig. Mother of Diane Romig Fonte (Harold), William Anthony Romig (Suzanne), Dwight John Romig (Vicki) and Ronald Lawrence Romig. Daughter of the late Isabelle R. Correge Maniscalco and Anthony F. Maniscalco. Sister of the late Helen M. Watson, Isabelle M. Trapp, Carole A. Maniscalco and Joseph Maniscalco. Survived by grandchildren, Dennis Romig (Hope), Karl Romig (Brittany), Neil Romig (Kristen), Regina Fonte, Jean-Paul Fonte and Matthew Romig, also survived by four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Romig was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Kenner, LA.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation Services at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124 on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 11:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM. The burial service will be conducted at Greenwood Cemetery. Mass gifts greatly appreciated. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Association for Retarded Citizens would be appreciated.
