Phyllis Eckert Weber Huhner, passed away on March, 15, 2017, was born October 7, 1922 to John J. Eckert and Ethel Haase Eckert. She had one brother, August G. Eckert (Mary Elizabeth). All are deceased. Her first marriage was to Andrew G. Weber. Many years later (1979)  she married Adam F. Huhner, F Jr. She graduated from McMain High School and earned a B.A. degree from Newcomb College. She and Adam were active in Orleans Audubon Society, Crescent City Bird Club, LA Ornithological Society, River Ridge Bromeliad Society. They were also active in their church, First Trinity Evangelical & Reformed U.C.C. She is survived by her son Glen Andrew Weber (Corrine) and granddaughter Amber Weber.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Lake Lawn Mausoleum.
