Nicholas Peter Popich, Jr., age 88, died on Sunday, August 6, 2017. Husband of the late Dolores Schroeder Popich. Father of Donna Lynn Popich, Cindee Popich Hession, and the late Nicholas P. Popich, III. Son of the late Evelyn Bacon Popich and Nicholas P. Popich, Sr. Brother of Rosemary Popich Odinet. Survived by six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mr. Popich served our country in the U.S. Army.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation and Mass at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 501 Holy Trinity Drive, Covington, LA. 70433 on Monday, August 14, 2017. The visitation will begin at the Church at 10:00 AM followed by the Mass at 11:00 AM. The inurnment will take place following the Mass at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College Drive, Slidell, Louisiana 70460. Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, La 70124 is in charge of the arrangements.
