Mary Ellen Margaret Boe passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, February 17, 2017, at the age of 79. Beloved wife of Bertrand “Bert” P. Boe Jr. Loving mother of Susan M. and Bertrand P. “B.B.” Boe III. Grandmother of Kristopher Comeaux, Shawn Monaghan Jr, Brandon Boe and Christina Boe Heath. Great-grandmother of Tristen Comeaux, Isabelle Comeaux, Gavin Rucker, Conner Rucker, Kaiden Monaghan, Alyssa Monaghan, Dylan Heath and Carleigh Heath. Brother of John Patrick McCarthy. She was predeceased by her parents Edward McCarthy and Emma Jean Stout and Raymond Stout and her brother Edward “Pooch” McCarthy. Mary had a special love for her grandchildren and her dog Angle. She loved to cook for her family and friends. She was a member of the Zoo Krew and a past member of Pete Fountains Better Half Wives Club.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Greenwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA. on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 11:30 AM.
