A Graveside Service for Dolores Rita Moran will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans with the Rev. Jerry LaPorte officiation on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 11:00 AM under the direction of Greenwood Funeral Home, New Orleans, LA. Miss Moran passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at her brother’s home in Baton Rouge, LA. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA. She was a previous parishioner of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in New Orleans, LA; St. Catherine of Siena in Metairie, LA and a new parishioner of Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Baton Rouge, LA.
Miss Moran was the beloved daughter of the late John A. Moran and Amy Lentz Moran. She is survived by her brother Edward E. Moran, Sr. and his wife Sara P. Moran; three nieces, Kathy Guilbeau (Joseph), Susan Fricke (Mike), and Patricia Wiltz (Mark); two nephews, Edward Moran, Jr. (Julie) and William Moran, Jr. (Karen). Great aunt to Kyle, Kristine, and Kevin Fricke; Kristen, Jeffrey, and Ryan Guilbeau; Jessica and Rachel Moran; Tyler, Parker, Madison and Sydney Wiltz; and William, Kenny, Kevin and Danny Moran. Great Great Aunt to Lane Michael Fricke, Olivia Riley Foyil, Brady Guilbeau, Jordan Fricke. Miss Moran is also survived by a host of other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Peter, William, Emment and Thomas Moran.
